The Homesick Lone Wolf - Location and Unlock Requirements
Right Side of the Statue of the New Moon at Ashveil Peak

The Homesick Lone Wolf can be found to the right of the Statue of the New Moon in Ashveil Peak, Nod-Krai. Going down the path close to it, you will find the local legend on your left. You'll have to climb up to reach it.
The Homesick Lone Wolf - How To Defeat
Bring Pyro or Use Electro Swirl For Cryo Ward
This local legend can summon an Ancestral Wolf Spirit that has a Cryo ward. It's a 2nd wolf but it won't deal much damage and removing the ward will make the Spirit disappear and paralyze the boss.
Has Cryo Resistance
Similar to another wolf boss, Andrius, the Wolf local legend has resistance to Cryo but is not immune to it. You can bring Melt teams with a Pyro DPS or use a Lunar-Charged team with Anemo support to trigger Swirl on the summoned Wolf Spirit.

Special Interaction with Varka
▲ Locked dialogue result if Varka isn't used to interact with it.
Defeating the Homesick Lone Wolf will allow you to interact with the red shadowy sword behind it. It's related to the Knights of Favonius and using Varka to interact with it will allow you to obtain Unbreakable: Durandarte skin for Varka's weapon.
