To get the recipe, you need to increase your reputation for 6 levels in the City of Mondstadt.

Step 2: Use The Diagram In Precious Item Menu

You need to use the "Diagram: Geo Treasure Compass" in the Precious Item Menu to be able to forge the item.

Where Is Precious Item Menu?

Precious Item menu can be viewed in the rightest tab in the inventory menu. Find the blueprint and use it here.

Step 3: Forge Geo Treasure Compass

Visit Blacksmith and forge the Geo Treasure Compass.

Geo Treasure Compass - How To Use

Step 1: Open Inventory & Gadget List

After crafting the item for the first time, notification will prompt. Press B to open the inventory to view your gadgets.

Step 2: Equip Geo Treasure Compass

In the Inventory Menu, select the item to equip.

Step 3: Use It With Shortcut

You can assign a shortcut for the gadget. The picture shows the PC interface. For PS4 players, press R1+ the shortcut button selected during the equip phase to use.

Can Be Used Multiple Times

Geo Treasure Compass, unlike geoculus trackers, can be used multiple times without disappearing. A really useful item when farming artifact fodders and adventure rank!

Step 4. Follow The Direction Of The Light

Upon using the gadget, you will see a light flowing to a certain direction, head to that direction to find the closest chest.

Has A 30 Second Cooldown

Upon using the gadget, you have to wait for 30 seconds to be able to use it again.

5 Second Cooldown When There Are No Treasure

If there are no treasures nearby, the light will just swirl in front of you and a 5 second cooldown will occur.
