Sigurd - Location and Unlock Requirements
Complete The Bell of Mourning Echoes Quest

Version 6.0 introduces a new mechanic to find the Local Legends, Sigurd can be fought against after completing The Bell of Mourning Echoes quest. You can start this quest by finding 3 of Sigurd's Relics at the Spots and interacting with the mechanism shown above.
- Head to Nasha Town and talk to the Lightkeepers there.
Go to the next Quest Marker and return the Relics to Sigurd's Grave

Sigurd's Grave can be found below the Blue Amber Lake and on the right side of the Barrowmoss Barrens. Interacting with the grave will summon Sigurd and allow you to fight him.

Deals Fast Electro Damage
Sigurd uses Electro for all of his Attacks. Since he also attacks frequently and deals high damage, it is recommended to bring a Shielder. Electro Shields has higher Damage Reduction so using Ineffa can help.
Valliant Challenges Guide
Sigurd has two challenges available aside from defeating him. Avoid getting hit by Sigurd's Demonsbane Strike and Eliminare all lured Wilderness Exiles before Sigurd could act.
Avoid getting hit by Sigurd's Demonsbane Strike
▲ Demonsbane Strike is the Electro AoE Attack.
Sigurd's Demonsbane Strike is a charging AoE attack. It can be avoided easily by using a Ranged character while melee characters have a short window of time to avoid it. If possible, use a Ranged DPS when fighting against Sigurd.
Eliminare all lured Wilderness Exiles before Sigurd could act
▲ Sigurd summoning 4 Wilderness Exiles. Defeating all of them will prevent him from using his AoE attack.
Sigurd has a similar mechanic to the Wild Hunt enemies and gets a 2nd HP bar then enters 2nd phase. In the 2nd phase, he can summon Wilderness Exiles. Defeat them before Sigurd uses an AoE Attack that hits the summons and your characters.

Completing the Quest will Give an Achievement
Just like the previous Local Legends, an achievement related to Sigurd can be obtained. After returning the relics to his grave, the achievement "Pro aris et focis" will be unlocked.
