New In-Game Feature
How to select a region will be a new feature in the next 2.0 Update for Genshin Impact. It was confirmed by the Mihoyo Developers during their question and answer with Paimon through their Official - Hoyolab Website.
Selecting Regions To Your Liking
Select a region based on your own preference to get daily commissions exclusively from that region but with occasional exceptions. You may also select "Random" to cancel your preference.
Region Selection Reset Time
It is also stated by the MIhoyo Developers that selecting a region for the daily commission will have a reset time that will take effect on the next daily reset.
