The Infinitesimal Local Legend can be found in Ancient Sacred Mountain underground area. It's on the lower right side of the main island. You can access the area near it while progressing through the Chronicler of the Crumbling City Questline.
Ancient Sacred Mountain Can Be Unlock Via Subquest
The area access can be unlocked via Path to the Flaming Peaks questline. You don't necessarily need to clear the whole questline of the Crumbling City to fight the Infinitesimal.

Bring Geo and Pyro Characters
▲ Rectangle bar is the Geo ward and the radial (circle) bar is the Overburn bar
The Infinitesimal has two (2) bars, a rectangular Geo ward bar and Overburn radial bar. To start dealing damage, you must deplete the Ward bar and increase the Overburn bar. Without Overburn, you will deal much lesser damage.
Food And Potions Can Also Be Used For Buffs And Healing
Since "Infinitesimal" is located in the Overworld, you can use Food and Potions to buff your characters for a better chance at beating it. The NRE is also a good gadget for fast food consumption for healing and revivals.

Unlocks "Infinitesimal" Achievement
After defeating Infinitesimal for the first time, you can get the first out of three achievements related to it. Its achievements is part of the Duelist: Series 3.
Also Drops A Lot Of Avatars Of Lava Cores
Infinitesimal is a Local Legend based on the Avatars of Lava so it drops a lot of Lava Cores of all rarities. However, if needing to farm Lava Cores, it's better to farm normal Avatars of Lava since they can spawn in groups.
