Illuga uses the drops from Landcruiser enemies for his ascension. His local specialty has been revealed to be Pine Amber, which is an overworld plant that can be found around the new, northernmost landmass of Nod-Krai.

His ascension material is the boss drop from the Super-Heavy Landrover: Mechanized Fortress, while his weekly boss is the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire where he uses the Eroded Horn drop.

Pine Amber is a Local Specialty that you can gather in the northernmost landmass of Nod-Krai, which consists of Voidsea Outlook, Wavechaser Plain and Ashveil Peak. They're mostly concentrated around Dreadshade Mire and Favonius Keep.

Enemy Materials

Defeat Landcruisers at the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau

For Illuga's enemy drop, he uses the drops of Landcruisers that can only be found around the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau. You can collect the Drive Shafts by defeating them. You will also be able to track them using Paimon Menu > Adventurer's Handbook, but not all locations will be shown.

Get Illuga Talent Books From Lightless Capital Domain

Teachings of Elysium

Illuga will use Teachings of Elysium talent books, similar to Nefer and Aino. These can be obtained from the Lightless Capital Domain north of the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop. This specific talent domain is available on Tue / Fri / Sun. For Illuga, only 2 Talents will be more efficient upon leveling up, and they will be the Skill and Burst. So focus on increasing those Talents to save materials and resin.

World Boss Location

Located at Paha Isle in Nod-Krai

Illuga's world boss, the Mechanized Fortress, is located in the underground facility on the northeast side of Paha Isle in the Nod-Krai region, near the Kuuhvahki Experimental Design Bureau.

Illuga uses the Eroded Horn dropped by the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire found in the Stone Seele Trounce Domain. This boss is closely tied to Chapter 5: Act 5 of the Archon Quest that takes place in Natlan. Completing the challenge in this domain will cost you 30 Original Resin.

How Many Days / Resin Needed?

Expect To Use Around 2500 Resin Or More

Since the material drops are random, farming for all of Illuga's ascension and talent materials will cost you around 2,500 Original Resin at World Level 9. This is around 2-3 (14~21 Days) weeks of resin generation. The number of days also differs whether or not you want to level all talents or not.

More Resin Cost For Artifacts

Farming for Artifacts, especially good ones, will also add to the resin cost of building a character. Artifacts are heavily based on luck and cannot be measured.

Around 18 Weeks To Fully Upgrade Talents

Talent Ascension requires a Weekly Boss material. Assuming you get one required material per week, you will need 18 weeks to fully upgrade a character's talents to 10/10/10. You can shorten this time by converting other Weekly Boss materials.
