The old man will NOT spawn in the forest, I've done all other parts of this, the "old friend", the "drawing", cant find this guy anywhere

cant find aranakin been 2days looking for him.. all the quest in the book have only this quest for aranakin cant find him.. btw i finish the quest of khayyam too

I have completed all prerequisites and the two parallel quests that open only when the prerequisites are done. I’m supposed to be able to enter a cave under mawtiyima forest but the opening is not there. Is anyone else running into this issue, and if so, have you solved it?
