There is difference, each region rod helps to catch fish faster within that region, e.g. Monstadt rod works only for Mondstadt. The event rod works in all regions, helps catch fish faster, but resets acceleration if you leave the Ideal Tension Zone.

so it doesnt matter wich fishing rod u have? like there is no difference between them?
