How do you find it without this guide? Are there hints about its location in the game?

For people having a hard time saying it won't let you interract, it might be if you're in co-op mode or a bug has happened, do fix this you could either restart the game or just go out of co-op.

Resolved! Just relog - I was able to put it down the flower.

I have the priest and princess box but i have the cecilia flower but its not giving me the option to interact with it. Please update once resolved for players who are having similiar issues.
