What Is Feng Shui?

Increase Your Luck with Feng Shui

Increase Your Luck with Feng Shui

Feng Shui is the specific arrangement of furniture in your home. It is a system which has existed in previous Animal Crossing games and which, like its real world equivalent, places great emphasis on the directions of South, West, and East.

Feng Shui Criteria

  • Green furniture on the south side
  • Red furniture on the east side
  • Yellow furniture on the west side

The Basics Of Feng Shui Placement

Basic Principles Of Placement

With the southern side being the entrance, yellow = west, green = south, red = east

The general principles of Feng Shui are as follows: place green furniture in the South, red furniture in the East, and yellow furniture in the West. Your Feng Shui score is calculated for all rooms in your house - make sure you place furniture appropriately in every room!

Custom Designs Don't Work?

Too Many Custom Designs

▲We might have overdone it a little bit with the green...

Through our experiments placing various Custom Design items, we found that they didn't seem to have a great effect on your HHA score. We're inclined to say they're not worth it.

Example Feng Shui Room

Green Feng Shui

In this room we focused on placing green furniture in the southern part of the room (near the entrance). Terrariums are recommended, as they're quite easy to make. Potted ivy is good for using up wall space.

Get Better Luck With Recipes

If you set up green Feng Shui in your room's southern area, you'll find that furniture and DIY recipes drop from balloons more frequently! From our experience, the difference is immediately noticeable, so if you're a DIY/Furniture fanatic, we highly recommend doing this.

Unfortunately, this information is INCORRECT. Please refer to AbdallahSmash's YouTube video on Feng Shui for correct information. The system was changed between games.

Kainos Teleos 10

Clarification:
With "right" Area, i meant "correct area" not the right side.
So green items to the south, red to the East and and yellow to the west.

Kainos Teleos 9

Every room gets their own set of points.
Once per color but for each room. Duplicate items don't count.
Set ONLY 3 items on the right area of one room for full color points, build the rest as you want. Do the same for the other rooms. Don't use the same items for different rooms. It will not work

Does this count for all rooms or just the main floor of rooms??

I have had lots of luck
