What are Glowing Spots on Ground?

Shining Spots on the Ground

As you go around your island, you may find glowing spots on the ground. These spots indicate that there is buried treasure on the ground that you can dig up!

One Glowing Spot Per Day

You can expect at least one Glowing Spot to appear in your island every day. Make sure to roam your island to see it. Though it's also possible to spawn in areas that you can't access yet.

Get 1,000 Bells by Digging

Dig up the Glowing Spot and you will uncover a bag of Bells. The Bells will always amount to 1,000 upon using them.

How to Dig Up Glowing Spots

Requires a Shovel

Requires a Shovel

You won't be able to dig up a Glowing Spot without having a shovel first. You can craft your own or you can buy it from the shop for 800 bells.

Create a Money Tree After Digging

Create a Money Tree After Digging

If you want to increase the amount of Bells you can get, you can opt to place back the Bell Bag into the hole. This will make a tree sprout show up on the hole. Wait a few days and you will have a Money Tree with 3000 Bells!

DO NOT bury more than 10k. The max is 10k and itll gove you max 30k in return.

Bury 99k and get 297k when tree grows after day and a half. After that it is a regular tree.

10k limit. There's one that u can exceed 10k, but not sure specifics on that

If you bury 10k bells instead of 1k, you'll get 30k back (a MUCH larger profit of 20k vs 2k. )
