Sanrio Villagers To Be Added In Update

On March 18th, a new update will be applied to the game which will add the ability to call several Sanrio Villagers to your island via amiibos! In total 6 new villagers will be available.

This update will add not only villagers but also items and clothing for you to obtain. Some items that weren't obtainable with amiibos AC: New Leaf will even be added!
Collab Posters Are Already Available
Note that you're already able to obtain certain posters via Sanrio amiibos. You don't need to wait for the update to get these!

Reprinted versions of Sanrio's Collaboration Amiibo cards can already be preordered in Japan. Preorders in other countries are set to go live later. In the United States, these cards will be released exclusively at Target.
