Buy For 2,400 Miles
You can purchase the Body Paint Costume Tips pack for 2,400 miles at the Nook Stop. If you have the Miles to spare and often change your appearance, we recommend getting this ASAP.
Added In Fall Update
The Body Paint Costume Tips pack was added in the 1.5.0 Fall Update. If you don't see this in your Nook Stop, make sure you've updated your game to the latest version!

The four new colors added are perfectly themed for Halloween. Try using them alongside a Halloween costume for maximum effect.
Change In Front Of The Mirror
By standing in front of a mirror and using it, you and change your appearance. Body paint can be changed in the exact same way as regular skin color!
Can Change Via Pranks
If you choose not to give Candy to a villager, you will get pranked! This prank takes the form of having face paint and makeup applied to your character. This is one way of changing body paint without buying the required pack, but can only be done on Halloween night.
Treated As A Custom Design
When you are pranked by a villager, the face painted which is applied to you is treated as a custom design. It's possible to immediately remove it, but you can't actually save it as a custom design to use for later, so be careful.
