Turnips are Animal Crossing: New Horizons' feature of a stock market. Players can purchase turnips on Sunday. Then, you can start selling them for another price from the next day. The selling price of the turnips changes every day.
Turnip Prices Change Twice A Day At Noon
Turnip prices fluctuate every day between approximately 50 to 150 Bells. Note that the pricing of the turnips changes at noon (12:00AM). You can check their selling prices at Nook's Cranny.

Turnips Rot After 1 Week
Be careful not to hold your turnips too long since they rot 1 week after from purchase them. Make sure you sell them before Saturday 10PM since Nook's Cranny closes. Once it's rotten, the price of 100 turnips will automatically be 100 bell (1turnips = 1bell).
Turnips Also Rot If You Move Time Backwards

Once Nook's Cranny is built, Daisy Mae will come to your island every Sunday morning. She will sell you turnips and they are sold in 10-piece bundles.

After purchasing turnips from Daisy Mae, you can sell your bundles in Nook's Cranny. They can be sold there every day, except on Sundays.
You Can't Put Turnips In The Storages
You can't store your turnips in your house's storage. Instead, place them at your house since they take lot of your inventory spaces.

The best time to purchase turnips from Daisy Mae is when their prices are below 100 Bells. You'll make more profit if their prices are close to 150 Bells when you sell them.

We've tested how the pricing changed over 6 weeks. In conclusion, we couldn't find the clear simple pattern on how the pricing moves but we'd like to share some of our findings.

- The selling price changed between 23~194 bells in our testing period
- In most of the time, The price rose in the middle of the week and went down in Saturday when we tested
