Mario Items - Collaboration Event Confirmed!

Update On February 25, 2021

It's official - Super Mario furniture is coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons through the February 25th update!

Furniture Available From March 1

Furniture and items will be available at the shops from March 1. You'll be able to make your island look more like it's something straight out of a Mario game!

Mario Costumes & Outfits

There will be Mario Costumes available for purchase as well. Have fun wearing them as you go around your island filled with Mario furniture!

No Additional Events

Although items and furniture may be purchased at Nook Shopping with the Mario Update, it doesn't seem that there will be an actual event with this Mario crossover.

Make A Sound When Interacted With

By going up to a piece of Mario furniture and pressing the A button, it would play a sound effect or snippet of music from the Mario series! There are bound to be lots of other interesting easter eggs and throwbacks for fans to find.

Travel Quickly With Warp Pipe

You can now warp to different places in your island with the Warp Pipe.

Randomized With Multiple Warp Pipes

If you set up more than 3 Warp Pipes, the destinations will be randomly decided for you.

May Warp Indoors

You may also place Warp Pipes inside your home, making it all the more convenient if you ever need to store and grab items quickly!

Possible To Recreate Courses

Given that furniture can be placed outside in ACNH, some players may even be able to recreate famous Mario levels on their own island! Those would certainly be fun to play on a Dream visit!
