How To Get Feathers

Catch With A Net During Festivale

Availability Period	February 15th

Feathers appear on your island on February 15th, during the Festivale event. Catch them with a net and add them to your inventory!

Catching With Net Is Your Only Option

Just like Cherry Blossom Petals and Snowflakes, your only option for getting feathers will be the net.

Feathers Won't Disappear

Unlike the case with Cherry Blossom Petals and Snowflakes, floating feathers won't disappear even if you swing and miss with your net. Feel free to try as many times until you catch them.

Trade Feathers With Villagers

By talking to villagers during the Festivale event, you can trade your unwanted feathers! The specific color villagers want depends on the color of clothes they are wearing, so if you have left over feathers of a specific color, talk to villagers who are wearing clothes of a similar color!

Separate Feather Stacks

You can stack up to 3 feathers in your inventory. If you want to trade just 1 feather, make sure to grab 1 from the stack and separate it in your inventory.

There are a total of 5 different colors of feathers. Note that there are 5 corresponding colors of Festivale furniture as well.

Give Feathers To Pavé

Pavé asks you to bring either 3 non-rainbow feathers of the same color or 1 Rainbow Feather. Catch them floating around your island and he will rewards you with his dance and Festivale furniture.

Furniture Is The Same Color As The Feathers You Gave

The furniture you get as a reward has the same color as the feather you gave to Pavé. If you want to get Festivale furniture of a certain color, make sure you collect the right feathers!

Use Feathers To Customize

You'll use feathers to customize Festivale furniture as well. If you want to get rainbow colored Festivale furniture, make sure you catch or craft enough Rainbow Feathers.

You can also wear a feather on your head and use it as an accessory!

How Many Feathers You Need

Minimum Required Amount

Non-Rainbow Feather	At least 27 (3x9 sets) *If you don't use Rainbow Feather
Rainbow Feather	At least 3

If you want to complete all Festivale furniture, you'd have to give 3 feathers of the same color 9 times (total 27 feathers). After giving Pavé feathers 9 times, bring 3 Rainbow Feather to get the last reward - the Festivale Float.

Bring More Feathers For Additional Rewards

Even after receiving the Festivale Float from Pavé, you can still bring him more feathers to get more Festivale furniture. The color of Festivale furniture corresponds to the color of feather you give to Pavé so if you want to complete color variants, make sure to bring the appropriate feathers.

How To Complete All Color Variants

Pavé will not give you the Festivale furniture of a color you already have until you complete all 9 Festivale furniture of that color. This means that you can complete all color variants without getting duplicates.
