How To Get Large Snowflakes
Reward For Making A Perfect Snowboy
"I'll give you a Large Snowflake for being such a Snowman-making expert!"
Large Snowflakes can be obtained by making a perfect Snowboy during Winter. If you do so, you'll be able to obtain one large snowflake per day. Large Snowflakes do not fall from the sky like regular ones! You'll need these for Ice recipes, so make sure you get one every day.

Snowboy can be made by rolling snowballs found on your island. Your Snowboy creation will be evaluated based on the proportions of its upper and lower half. You can only get the Large Snowflake reward if the balance is just right, so take your time when making putting Snowboy together.
Won't Melt Even If Stored
Large Snowflakes will not melt even if you place them in storage. Collect these through winter and store them for later use.
Uses Of Snowflakes
Some Recipes Are Obtained From Balloons
Although most Winter recipes are given to you by Snowboy, some of them will be randomly dropped from balloon presents that randomly drift around the island! Make sure to shoot these down with your slingshot every time you see them!
