Jack is one of the major additions in Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Fall Update. He was added in patch 1.5.0 along with various Halloween themed items, including new furniture and clothing.

Jack will only show up during the Halloween Night event on October 31st. In this event, you will be able to give out special halloween candies to villagers in costume. This is the only time to meet him so make sure to go to your plaza then!

Jack is the face of the Halloween event in the Animal Crossing franchise! With a jack-o-lantern for a head, it's unknown what kind of animal he is.
Disguise Yourself As Jack
By giving Candies to Jack during the Halloween Night event, you will be rewarded with Jack's Face and Jack's Robe. If you give him more than 3 candies, he will start giving you pumpkins.

By wearing Jack's Face and Jack's Robe and talking to a villager, you can scare them and get a Candy. Each villager will give you 1 candy, so talk to all villagers on your island to collect candies.
Give Him Lollipops To Get The Spooky Carriage & Wand
You can get the Spooky Carriage and Spooky Wand recipes by giving Jack Lollipops 3 times. On your 4th time (and on) giving Jack a lollipop, you will start to get one of his two clothing items at random.
