What Is The Lunar New Year?
The Lunar New Year marks the start of a new year on the basis of an older calendar used primarily in East Asia. Countries that celebrate the New Year include China and South Korea. This is considered to be one of the most important holidays in the year!
Hear Special Dialogue From Villagers
Talking to villagers on your island during Lunar New Year will give you special dialogue! It seems that different villagers have different text here, so try talking to everyone to see what they say!
No Other Events
With the exception of Isabelle's announcement and your villager's allusion to the holiday, there are no other special events in place for Lunar New Year. However, you can buy some special Lunar New Year items from February 10th at Nook Shopping!
