Visit Tarantula Island!

Tarantula Island

Though it sounds terrifying, there is an island in-game you can visit which is filled with Tarantulas. You can catch as many as you can hold here, so make sure to go on a Mystery Island Tour to find this Island!

Stop When It Strikes A Threatening Pose

When catching a Tarantula, sneak up on it by pressing and holding the "A" button. When the Tarantula raises its legs and starts trying to intimidate you, don't move and wait until it stops its attack pose! Get close enough and catch with your net.

Yeah I’ve only ever seen scorpions in the SH.

I tried this but only scorpions appeared. I found out that it was because it wasn’t spawning time for tarantulas in my hemisphere. Is this a way of spawning scorpions, too?

Anonymous 1

When do they respawn?
