How To Get Hardwood (Hard Wood) Fast
Only Use Flimsy Axe & Stone Axe
Striking a tree with an Axe three times will result in it being cut down. Use a Flimsy Axe or a Stone Axe to hit trees to gather materials without chopping down the tree.

Go On Mystery Tour With Nook Miles
If you run out of trees on the island and have 2,000 Nook Miles, you can book a mystery island tour. Print the ticket at the Nook Stop and head to the Airport. The deserted island will have a ton of trees you can chop for materials!
