Increase Storage Space With Winter Update
Max Storage Space Now Goes Up To 2400

With the Winter Update, available as of November 19th, you can increase the max amount of item you can store in your house's storage to 2400. To do so, you need to update your ACNH software to version 1.6.0 or later and talk to Tom Nook at the Resident Services. This will cost you 500,000 bells, so save up!

Make Your House a Home
Animal Crossing features a wide variety of things you can do to customize your home! You will be able to place furniture, and change wallpapers and flooring in order to make your house something you can proudly call home!

If you feel like you need a change of scenery, you will also be able to move your house to a different location on the island. The house's dimension is 4x4 tiles, so find a suitable spot, then talk to Tom Nook to arrange your move!

When you establish your home, you will receive a letter from Happy Home Academy. The scoring will be based on the overall design of the inside of you house. Score high enough and you might even get a gift!

Open Inventory & Select Item
Go inside your house and open your inventory. Select the item you want to store and select "Put in Storage" to place it inside the storage.
How to Retrieve Items
Open Storage with the Right Cross Button
While inside your house, press the cross button → to open storage. From there, you can select which item to take out from your storage.
