Breed Blue Pansies First
Plant the White Pansy seeds in a diagonal pattern, with at least one space in between them. This will allow you to breed Blue Pansies.
Plant Red Pansies Elsewhere
Make sure to plant the Red Pansy seeds elsewhere as these need to breed with the Blue Pansies that you will first need to create.
5. Getting a Red Hybrid Pansy
Once the Blue Pansies bloom, replant these next to the Red Pansies. These will flowers will have the chance to create a Red Hybrid Pansy flower.
6. Creating Purple Pansy Hybrids
Once you have enough Red Pansy Hybrids, you can plant them in the same formation, leaving a space in-between. Watering them will have the chance to create a Purple Pansy Hybrid!
How to Breed Purple Pansies and Price
Plant Purple Pansies Next to Each Other
Once you have at least 2 Purple Pansies, you can plant them next to each other and breed Purple Pansies this way. Remember to leave at least one free space to allow for new Pansies to grow.
A Note On Breeding
Flower breeding is a lot more complicated than one might expect, as it seems that flowers have their own individual DNA, which only gets more complicated the more you breed them. There can also be various different ways of getting the same color flower. This means that there is indeed an element of chance involved in the process.
If you use our combinations before and don't get the result you want, try the following:
- Remove the unwanted flower and try again
- Buy new flowers with "fresh" DNA
Continue Watering Blue & Red Pansies
You can also opt to continue watering the Red and Blue Pansies that you've previously planted. This is another way to grow Purple Pansies.
Purple Pansies Sell For 240 Bells
Purple Pansies sell for 240 Bells at Nook's Cranny. However, this is not the most efficient way to earn Bells, considering the time it takes for the flower to grow.
