What's Redd's Raffle

Redd's Raffle In Fireworks Shows

redd
TimeEvery Sunday 7 p.m. during August
PlaceIn front of Resident Services

With the new August Wave 2 update, there will be new event called the Fireworks Show. During this event, Redd will set up a street stall and run a raffle. Purchase his raffle tickets to win festive items!

Exchange Tickets For Items

Ticket Price500 Bells

In previous games in the franchise, you were able to exchange raffle tickets (which were called Cookies) for a prize. These tickets cost 500 Bells, and some of them could also contain a dud (meaning you won no prize).

Throw Away Unwanted Prizes

Redd Garbage

You can throw away unwanted prizes in the garbage bin beside Redd's stall. After using the fireworks, they'll end up back in your inventory as "used fireworks", so if selling them in the market is too much of a hassle, throwing them away is another option.

Chance Of Getting Each Prize

Get All 12 Without Duplicates

12

Although the name implies that it's random, it's actually relatively easy to get all 12 items from Redd's Raffle. This is because you can continue to buy tickets and get all 12 times without receiving any duplicates! Each raffle ticket costs 500 bells, so you'll need a total of 6000 Bells to get them all.

Get Unlimited Tickets

After obtaining all 12 items, you can continue to draw raffle tickets to get duplicates. Since some of the prizes are consumable items (ex. Sparklers and Bubble Blower), this means you can continue to get new ones this way!

Starting September You Can Buy The Prizes At Nook's Cranny

It is possible to buy Redd's Raffle items at Nook's Cranny but the store only features one type per day.

You're right anonymous. I received all kinds of drinks and cotton candy while doing this.

There's not only 12 items for Red's Raffle. I was receiving cotton candy and tea last time...

Anonymous 2

Yes, I have found the Fountain Fireworks in Nook's Cranny too, so I am going to guess they are all available to purchase multiples in the store.

Anonymous 1

They may all be available in the Nook Shop too seeing I've found the Balloons and Tweeter.
