1.10 Update Information

Coming April 28th

Date	April 28th, 2021, 10:00 JST (April 27th, 9pm EST)

Animal Crossing New Horizon's next update, version 1.10, will be coming out on April 28th. This update will include events from May and June that were featured in the game last year.

2020 Events Won't Be Held After Update

After updating to Ver.1.10.0, you will no longer be able to do the above events in 2020 (by going back in time). However, there isn't anything you can miss permanently, so you don't need to worry.

May Day

Event Date	4/29 ~ 5/7

You'll be able to experience the May Day event in 2021 as well! By using a May Day Ticket you'll be able to go to a mysterious island and do activities there. Note that the route for May Day will in fact be different this year, so you can expect a new maze to go through!

Museum Stamp Rally

Event Date	5/18 ~ 5/31

The Stamp Rally which was part of last year's International Museum Day event is back! In the 2021 version of this event, you'll have a new stamp card for the art exhibition wing of your museum!

Wedding Season New Items

Event Date	6/1 ~ 6/30

The 2021 version of the Wedding Season will feature new available clothing and furniture! You'll be able to hold a slightly different wedding than last year!

In addition to all the previous items available last year, you'll have a new selection of items to obtain this year, as listed above! Note that some of them also have color variations, which will appear in stores and change daily.

Next Update After August?

Given that the Wedding Season Event will be included in this update, and the fact that there were no particular special updates in July of last year, we think it's likely that the next update won't be until August.

Other Future Events

Seasonal Events Will Be Available Again

Events from the end of April up until the Wedding Season will be available for play again this year at their appropriate times. We think that it's very likely all other events (such as Halloween and Thanksgiving) will be held later this year as well!

Low Chance Of New Events?

Events up to June of 2021 have been announced thus far, but there was no news at all of entirely new events. We think that it's not very likely 2021 will bring with it any new events for New Horizons.

How To Update Your Game

Press The "+" Button On The Home Screen

Your game will automatically update as long as you're connected to the internet, though it may take a while before the download actually starts. If you want to manually check for game updates, select ACNH on your Switch's home screen and press the "+" button. Then go to Software Updates and download it manually.

Try Restarting Your Switch

If the game doesn't seem to be updating, it can be worth it to just turn your Switch device off and on. Hold the power button and select restart to do this.

Match Versions With Local Users

If you don't currently have an internet connection, it's actually possible to receive the latest software from another Switch device that has it already installed. Select the bottom option in the Software Update tab to do this!
