How To Make A Simple Park

Things To Have When Making A Park

  • Playground equipment
  • Other furniture that goes well in a park
  • Fences and shrubs
  • Island Designer Tool
  • Custom Designs for flooring (optional)

Number And Type Is Up To You

The amount of furniture and fences you need for this project depends on you. If you want to make a very large playground/park, you'll need a suitable number of fences. However, we recommend not skimping on shrubs and fences, as completely surrounding your park with one will really make it more impressive!

Prepare A Space For The Park

Surround the park with shrubs

When making a park, first decide the scale and location. We recommend planting shrubs along the perimeter to mark off the area.

Pave The Ground

Paving the park grounds

The next step will be to change your park's tiles! We recommend placing the Dark Dirt Path tile, as it suits this theme well. You'll be able to change the floor at any point later, so don't worry too much about this choice.

Custom Design Flooring Is Also Okay

Custom Design Flooring

If you've got confidence in your artistic skills, try making your own floor pattern and laying it in your park. You could also use an existing pattern someone else has made online!

Add Playground Equipment

Decorate your park

After paving the ground, start placing your furniture! It's good to have furniture other than playground equipment too, such as a clock and benches, as they'll give it a more realistic feel. Even if you have a limited amount of furniture to work with, try recoloring it with the Furniture Customization feature to add some variety!

WriterWriter II decided to make a cozy little park for my residents. I included a water fountain and bench so residents don't always have to playing on the jungle gym or in the sandbox - they can relax too!
