Celebrate The Children Of The World

On June 2nd, Tom Nook officially announced that International Children's Day will be coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Although we are currently in the midst of a major event in the form of the Wedding Season, it seems that Children's Day will be overlapping with Cyrus and Reese's matrimonial festivities!

2 Items To Purchase

It seems that the only gameplay features that Children's Day will be bringing are two items available for purchase at Nook Shopping. The Handmade cape and Handmade crown go for 500 and 300 bells respectively, and are only available only during the month of June. Make sure to pick these up!

A Father's Day Mug Too?

In addition to the two Children's Day-specific items, a special Mug celebrating Father's Day was also added to Nook Shopping! This mug costs 600 Bells and is similar to the Mother's Day Mug. If the Mother's Day event is anything to go off, this is expected to be the full extent of Father's Day celebrations.

What Is Children's Day?

Children's Day is a holiday which celebrates children all over the world. This holiday is held and observed at different times around the world - in Japan, for example, it takes place in May.
