Details about Bunny Day and a new seasonal event called Earth Day were announced during the March 26th Nintendo Direct Mini. More details will be announced on the official Animal Crossing Twitter account soon!

Bunny Day is always held on the first Sunday after the spring equinox. The event is held for 24 hours alongside the rabbit villager Zipper.

Close To Release Day

Bunny Day this year falls very close to the release day of Animal Crossing New Horizons. It's therefore very likely that an update will come almost immediately after the game launches!

Collect Eggs

During this event, the rabbit Zipper will appear on your island. He will hide eggs all around the island, which, once found and returned to him, will give you some special items. These include unsellable limited-time furniture, as well as a picture of Zipper.

Bunny Day - Event Details And How To Prepare

Bunny Day Event Flow

1Collect all 6 different types of eggs
2Hand over all 6 eggs to Zipper
└ Get the "Bunny Day Basket"
3Collect eggs again (recommended to get ~5)
※Type doesn't matter here
4Eat the eggs and collect tickets
5Give the tickets you collected to Zipper
└ Get limited time furniture and items
6If you didn't get the items you wanted, start back at step 3

6 types of eggs will appear across the island on Bunny Day, hidden in different locations. Seek them out and give them over to Zipper!

In order to get eggs which are hidden beneath the ground or underwater, you'll need certain tools like the Shovel and Fishing Rod. Make sure to have them on hand before you start!

Collect Until You Get The Furniture You Want

The prizes you get for collecting these tickets are random! If you're determined on getting some of these, keep collecting more eggs!

Candies Can Be Used On Halloween

The Candy which you get from eggs can also be used during Halloween. You'll be able to exchange it for limited-time furniture and items, so make sure to hold onto it until October!
