How To Get Toys
On Sale At Nook's Cranny

Sold In The Seasonal Item Corner
In order to see the toys on sale, you'll need to upgrade Nook's Cranny so that you can see the seasonal item corner. Then, from the period of Dec 1st to 25th you'll see a different toy on sale every day.
Sold Randomly After Dec 9th
From December 1st to the 8th, all toys will be sold sequentially in order. After the 9th, they will go on a random rotation.
Colors Fixed For Each Island
The Toy Day items you can obtain are set and unchangeable for your particular island. It's also not possible to customize these and change their color, which means that it won't be easy to get color variants of toys.
Get Color Variants From Others
If you really want a toy of a specific color, we strongly recommend connecting with other players. Note that you don't actually need to buy the item on their island, simply touching the item will register it to your catalogue, allowing you to buy it later on!

After handing out all presents to your villagers on the 24th, you'll be able to exchange presents with them instead! If you wrap a present with wrapping paper (found at Nook's Cranny), you can trade it to them and get a special Toy item!
Get Colors Not Sold On Your Island
The Toys you get from trading with villagers can sometimes be color variants! This means you can get colors that aren't normally sold on your island. Make sure you give each of your 10 villagers a present!

With the exception of the tent, you can interact with all Toy Day Toys and make them do something! Try laying them on the ground and pressing A with them to see what they can do.
