New Items Added In Update
Toy Day Update Brings New Recipes
New recipes have been added to the Christmas set of items, including Festive Wrapping Paper and the Gift Pile. Both of these can be obtained from Jingle during the event.
New Toys Added To Shop
From Dec 1st to the 25th, you'll be able to be purchase seasonal limited-time items from Nook's Cranny. Note that these items will only appear when you've upgraded Nook's Cranny to its highest level.

The Toy Day items you can obtain are set and unchangeable for your particular island. It's also not possible to customize these and change their color, which means that it won't be easy to get color variants of toys.
Get Color Variants From Others
If you really want a specific color toy, your only real option will be to connect with other players. Note that you don't actually need to buy the item on their island, simply touching the item will register it to your catalogue, allowing you to buy it later on!

Get From Balloons
| Availability Period | 12/15 〜 1/6 ※ For both hemispheres |

It's possible to obtain seasonal recipes in the Festive set by popping balloons during the period of time from Dec 15th to January 6th. This period is the same for both hemispheres!
Come From The Coast At 0/5 Minutes
Balloons will arrive on your island whenever the in-game minutes end in a 0 OR a 5. (For example 3:00, 3:10, 3:20, or 3:05, 3:15, etc).

The chance you'll get recipes from balloons is, frankly, somewhat low. If you're really adamant about getting them all, we recommend making use of online forums to trade with other players.

The Ornamental Wreath recipe can be obtained from one of Isabelle's morning broadcasts at any point after December 15th. This will also serve as an indicator that Ornaments are now in season, so make sure to check every day!
Get From Jingle On Christmas
Festive Wrapping Paper and the Gift Pile can be obtained from Jingle the reindeer on the 24th of December. These are special recipes limited to Toy Day only, so make sure not to miss them.

Toys can be obtained by trading presents with villagers after you've completed Jingles' main present give away event! Alternatively, you can purchase them at Nook's Cranny, though it will need to be upgraded first.
How To Gather Ornaments
Shake Them Off Decorated Trees
To get Ornaments, all you'll have to do is shake decorated trees during the specific availability period. There are 3 main types of ornaments.

Not Dropping? Keep Shaking.
It's possible to get multiple Ornaments from a single tree. If they don't seem to be dropping, first make sure that the tree you're shaking is decorated. Then, just keep going at it - you're just having a bout of bad luck and some will drop eventually!

Toy Day is a Christmas-themed event that was added in the game's November update! Get in the festive spirit and decorate your island and home!
Check Out The Winter Update HereGet A Wreath On The 15th
After December 15th, one of the villagers on your island will come up to you and present you with a fancy Wreath! This can't be purchased, so make sure you don't sell it!
Buy Santa & Reindeer Outfits

Starting from the 15th of December, you'll be able to puchase Reindeer and Santa outfits from the Able Sisters shop! These aren't necessary for the Toy Day event itself, but they are nice to have so you can see how villagers react!
