Enhancements Require Materials & Rupees

Upgrading Armor requires a certain amount of Rupees and specific Materials, which vary depending on the Armor you want to enhance.

Some Armor Cannot Be Enhanced

There are some Armor that cannot be upgraded. For example, the Phantom Series Armor, which has high initial stats. Therefore, the armor that can be enhanced will ultimately have higher performance.

Advantage Of Strengthening Armor

Increases Defense Each Time It Is Enhanced

Your Armor's Defensive stat is increased with each enhancement. Each part of the armor (Head, Body, Legs) has its own DEF stat, so if you strengthen them all to their max, you can greatly increase Link's defense.

Some Armor Offer Additional Set Bonuses For Two Levels Of Enhancement

Some armor provide additional set bonuses if you enhance all parts of the armor by two or more levels. The set bonus is an effect that is activated when the same series of Armor is equipped, so check the additional effect when enhancing them.
