Points Of No Return - Permanent Choices

Treasure Chests Do Not Reset

Treasure Chests you find in the world can only be opened once, and they will not reset. If the equipment is broken, it can only be obtained by other means.

Horse Name

Once a name is given to a Horse, it cannot be changed. The better the Horse it, the more frequently it will be used, so make sure to give it an appropriate name to your liking!

Horse Cannot Be Transferred Over Later

Thos who have played the previous game can transfer over their horses to TotK. However, it is not possible to do so without the data of the previous game at the first startup, so be careful if you have a new console or have deleted your data.

How To Transfer Horses

Some Bosses Cannot Be Rematched

Some bosses that appear in the story, such as Seized Construct, cannot be re-fought. Currently, the following bosses have not been confirmed to reappear after one or a certain number of battles. Be careful when filling in the Hyrule Compendium.

Points Of No Return - Reversible Elements

Respawn Happens During Blood Moons

Things That Come Back During The Blood Moon
- Small foes
- Middle boss (Strong enemy)
- Items that have fallen in the field
- Ore Deposits
- Contents of crates & pots
- Poe

The Blood Moon comes every 7 days in-game (2 hours and 48 minutes in real time). During the Blood Moon, enemies and fallen items in various areas will be revived. The items and enemies can be fought or obtained once again.

Zonai Devices Removed From Capsule

Zonai Devices removed from a Zonai capsule cannot be put back into the capsule. Therefore, if you take them out by mistake, you have no choice but to leave them there. Those that are not used will be wasted.

Device Dispenser (Zonai Gacha) - How To Use & What You Get

Reacquisition Is Possible

Zonai Capsules that have been used cannot be re-housed, but can be obtained again by going to the Device Dispenser where the same gear is ejected and manufacturing it. It is a good idea to obtain a sufficient number of capsules, so you don't have to worry if you accidentally eject the wrong one.
