Camera Work In The Depths Walkthrough
Proceed To Regional Phenomena
In order to progress with Camera Work in the Depths quest, you need to proceed with the Regional Phenomena quest first. Please refer to the link below if you are not done with the main quests.
Main Quest Walkthrough GuidePrepare Brightbloom Seed
To make exploring easier, prepare Brightbloom Seeds in advance since the Depths is a dark area. To illuminate in the Depths, simply press the R1 button and the Up button to throw a Brightbloom Seed at the spot.
Start From Lookout Landing
Talk to Robbie & Josha at Lookout Landing
Head to the Hyrule Field Chasm and descend thru the deep hole
Talk to Ponnick in the Depths
Activate the Travel point by interacting with the nearby lightroot
Head west and interact with another lightroot
Talk to Robbie next to the lightroot
- Camera function becomes available
- Hyrule Compendium function becomes available
Use Camera and take a picture of the statue specified by Robbie
Return to Lookout Landing and talk to Josha
How To Use Camera
Camera Function
The camera's function is to take a photo of a specific subject. Similar to BotW, the photos taken are registered in the Hyrule Compendium.
Use Camera For Side Adventures
Camera is used to take pictures of 13 monuments for the Side Adventure "Messages from an Ancient Era" which is available at the Lookout Landing after clearing one or more temples.
