How To Defeat Mucktorok, Scourge Of Water Temple?
Repeat With Water Attack → Attack Stunned Mucktorok
If you hit Mucktorok with a water attack during its shark form, it will jump and get stunned which gives you a chance to attack. You can beat the first phase by repeating these steps.
Chuchu Jelly Is Recommended
The boss would be swimming at a distant position and it takes some effort to attack it up close due to the influence of mud. Therefore, it is better to attack with Arrows using Water Fruit or Chuchu Jelly.
Counteract With Keese Eyeball
When its HP is less than half, it will scatter mud around the area and evade into the mud when it is stunned by water attacks. It is recommended to shoot arrows fused with Keese Eyeballs the moment it jumps.
Wash Mud Off With Water Attack Or Sidon's Skill
The mud that the enemy spits out will slow down your movement, making it difficult to approach the enemy and avoid attacks. You can wash off the mud around you by using a water attack or swinging your sword with Sidon's skill.
Jumping & Paragliding Is Recommended
Since the jump time is long in the Water Temple, you can use the Paraglider even on flat ground. While gliding mid-air to avoid mud, attack with a bow to remove the mud of Mucktorok's shark form.
Defense With Sidon's Skills
By using Sidon's skill, you can defend against enemy attacks. It is easy to get hit, especially during the shark form, so stay close to Sidon and try to keep the defense up as much as possible. Also, Sidon's skill can also perform water attacks but there is a risk of getting hit. Therefore, attacking with a bow would be better.
Mucktorok Attack Pattern
Wave Of Mud
An attack where a wave of mud comes across a wide range from the center of the enemy. It is difficult to avoid and causes a lot of damage when hit. It is recommended to use Sidon's skills to get through it.
Mud Sweep
You can avoid the sweeping attack by jumping up if you are in the Sky. But you are fighting in the Depths, so you can cancel the attack by stunning the enemy with a water attack or guard the attack with Sidon's skill.
Mud Splash
This attack does not cause damage, but it scatters a large amount of mud which makes it hard to move. It is best to attack with water attacks or use Sidon's skill then swing the sword to sweep away the mud with a water slash.
