How To Repair Weapons?

Durability Will Be Restored After Sucked By Octorok

Place The Weapon In Front Of The Octorok

Approach the Rock Octorok and then place your weapon in front of it, then distance yourself from the creature since it will start sucking the weapon. Once it is done the Octorok will spit away the weapon.

Recommended Octorok Is At The Momosik Shrine

If you want to repair and enhance your weapon using the Rock Octorok, the recommended Octorok location will be near the Momosik Shrine. There are three Rock Octoroks near the shrine, so you can repair your weapon, bow, and shield all at once.

Repair/Effect For Champion Weapons Are Not Possible

Even if the Champion's weapon is sucked by the Rock Octorok, the Durability will not be repaired or given an effect. Therefore, the only way to repair it is to rebuild it every time it is broken.

Weapons Effect Selection

Select Your Desired Effect By Save & Load

Rock Octorok's additional effects will be random each time you repair weapons. Therefore, by repeatedly saving and loading it will be possible to target the effect that you want. There are cases also where unwanted effects will be added, which is why it is recommended to save it in advance.

Savage Lynel Bow Can Be Enhanced More

Take advantage to upgrade and enhance your Savage Lynel Bow since it is possible to change the weapon's effect. There are many weapons that can be enhanced as well, however, the Savage Lynel Bow is highly recommended because there is a chance to get an effect of 5 consecutive firing shots.

The Effect of Hylian Shield Is Also Resetable

You can reset the effect of the strongest shield, the Hylian Shield since this shield costs 3,000 Rupees in the store. It is recommended to enhance it and reset the effect using the Rock Octorok whenever it breaks.

How To Defeat Rock Octorok?

Make The Rock Octorok Suck The Bomb Flower

You can defeat the Rock Octorok by making it swallow a Bomb Flower. If you just want to add an effect for weapons, there is no need to defeat it because the limit of recovery resets whenever Blood Moon happens.

Remove The Summons While Farming Weapons

The summons of sages may defeat the Rock Octorok, in this case, it will make the weapon farming more difficult so it is better to remove the summons.
