How To Reroll Weapon Effects

Reroll Weapon Effects Through Being Sucked By Rock Octorok

The additional effect of a weapon can be rerolled by usng the Rock Octorok at Death Mountain. Simply have the weapon sucked in, and it will recover its Durability and randomly change the effect attached to the weapon.

Rock Octorok Details
・Only once for one weapon is available
└Resets during Blood Moon. No need to defeat it
・Restores Durability
・Adds effects at random
└If an effect is already attached, it will be replaced with another effect
・Can be changed by Save & Load
*Effects of Champion's weapons cannnot be changed

Place The Weapon In Front Of The Octorok

Place The Weapon In Front Of The Octorok

Place your weapon in front of the Rock Octorok, and it will suck the weapon once you distance from it. It will quit attack when you get close to it, so you can place your weapon safely.

More Powerful Effects Can Be Added From The Second Reroll

For the weapons with no effect, the effects added by the Rock Octorok will be Attack Up or Durability Up. The powerful effects such as Five Shot Burst and higher Attack Up are added randomly only when there is already an additional effect, so equipment with no effect needs to be sucked into the Rock Octorok twice.

Apparently there’s also a ‘Quick Shot’ upgrade for bows that isn’t listed. I was rerolling for Shot Burst on my Gerudo Bow and got Quick Shot in the process.
