How To Get/Unlock Paraglider

Can Be Obtained In The Main Quest "Crisis at Hyrule Castle"

After proceeding through the Main Quest "Crisis at Hyrule Castle", Purah will give you the Paraglider. At the same time, you will be able to open the Skyview Tower, which will allow you to update the map.

If you get an amiibo, you can unlock a special Paraglider that is only available through the amiibo bonus. So, if you want the Paraglider that goes with the specific amiibo mentioned above, it's a good idea to buy it.

How To Use Paraglider

Press The Paraglider Button While In The Air

Jump button in the air

You can use the Paraglider by pressing the designated button while you're in the air. By deploying it from a high altitude, you can even travel long distances.

Manage Your Stamina Wheel Carefully

Your Stamina Wheel will constantly be consumed while using the Paraglider. Make sure it does not reach zero or else you will be unable to use the Paraglider and fall midair causing fall damage or losing all of your hearts.

How To Increase The Stamina Vessel

You Can Ride Air Currents

It is possible to ride on the airflow

Sometimes, on certain map areas you can see some air currents or strong updraft winds blowing out from the ground. If you jump in these areas and use the Paraglider, you can soar up from the ground quickly.
