Kara Kara Bazaar guide in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This includes how to get to Kara Kara Bazaar, shop locations, side quests, what to do, items for sale and more!
It is recommended to get Horse first before proceeding. You can catch the Horse just southwest of Lookout Landing.
Once you've mastered Horse, follow the street to the southwest. A trained horse will automatically run along the road without needing any control from you.
As you proceed along the path, you will see Susuyai Shrine. Don't forget to examine it as it will become a Travel Point even if you don't complete the shrine.
Hyrule Field Skyview Tower can be seen as you proceed south from the shrine. Having the map unlocked makes it easier to navigate towards your destination.
Go south from Skyview Tower and go west at the fork to see Tsutsu-um Shrine. Unlock this place as a Travel Point too.
Cross the Digdogg Suspension Bridge to the Mini Stable. If you don't have armor, you should make Food for the Heat and Cold Resistance.
As you continue south, you will see a cliff with footholds. You can use Ascend to go up the footholds.
As you climb up, you can see Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and unlock it.
Looking west from Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, you will see the lights of Kara Kara Bazaar, so follow it as a landmark.
What To Do In Kara Kara Bazaar
Unlock Mayatat Shrine
When you arrive at Kara Kara Bazaar, unlock the Mayatat Shrine in the north side. There is no need to rush to complete it, but it can be used as a Travel Point when you want to return to Kara Kara Bazaar later.
Prepare For Heat & Cold Resistance
If you head to Gerudo Town from Kara Kara Bazaar, you will need to prepare for Level 2 Heat Resistance during the day and Level 2 Cold Resistance at night. At Kara Kasa Bazaar, you can also buy the Desert Voe Headband for 450 Rupees as your Heat Resistance.
The combination of Armor and Food can reach Level 2 Resistance but take note that Food has a time limit. Therefore, the longer it takes to complete the Lightning Temple, the more food you need to eat. To avoid getting stuck in the middle, make plenty of foods with long effect time.
Carrying a weapon with Fire or Ice Element provides heat or cold resistance equivalent to at least level 1. Fire-elemental Lizalfos appear around Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower during the morning while Ice-elemental Lizalfos appear at night, reaching the resistance with Weapon + Armor is also an option.
Floating treasure chests in the water can be acquired with the Ultrahand ability. Don't forget to collect the Gerudo Bow (25 Physical Attack) inside it.
