Sky Island - Travel On The Map
Travel To Shrines On Sky

On the map screen, you can switch between the Surface and the Sky Island using the ▲ and ▼ buttons. Warping to the Shrines on Sky is the easiest way to get to the Sky Island.
Sky Island - Recall On Falling Rock
Climb Up With The Rock From The Sky

While moving on the map, some rocks fall from the sky. You can use Recall on the falling rocks to reverse the rock's direction which you can use to reach the Sky Island.
How To Use Recall?Lock-On The Rock With Yellow Highlight

Even if you are not aware of it, some rocks would be highlighted in yellow with Recall. This is also a good idea to look for rocks of this color when looking for a means of transportation to ascend to the sky.
Sky Island - Examine Skyview Tower
Ascend To Sky Immediately From Skyview Tower
Skyview Towers scattered throughout Hyrule can be used as a means of accessing the Sky Island not only during the first visit but also in the latter parts of the game. Also, use Skyview Towers in each region and fly with a Paraglider to explore shrines and shorten travel time to the next Skyview Tower.

▲ Can be used to explore the surrounding islands or as a starting point for Surface exploration. Note that they can be useful for purposes other than map unlocking and travel points.
