How To Make Traveling Easier

Unlock Fast Travel / Warp Points

After clearing three shrines on the Great Sky Island, Fast Travel will be unlocked when you go deeper into the Temple of Time. You can select it from the map and teleport there instantly. However, this is only limited to specific locations such as shrines.

Get A Paraglider

The Paraglider allows you to travel through the air. The ease of movement is very different without the Paraglider, so once you get down to the surface, proceed with the Main Quest to unlock the Paraglider.

Capture A Horse

The Horse on the Surface can be captured and used for transportation. It is much quicker than running, so you will want to capture one as possible when you land on the Surface.

Ascend Can Be A Great Shortcut

Ascend is a skill to go up through the ceiling. This skill can be used in various locations, such as caves; if it works, it will result in a shortcut. If you find yourself in a place different from your destination, remember that you can return to your original location by pressing the B button.

Increase The Stamina Vessel

The Stamina Vessel can be increased by offering the Light of Blessing, which can be obtained by clearing the shrine to the Goddess Statue. The more Stamina Vessel you have, the more comfortable you can move around since it is necessary for Dash, Climbing, and Paraglider.

Basic Means Of Transportation

Basic movement is done with the L Stick. The X button is for Dash, and the B button is for Jump. They can be changed in Settings.

To climb a wall, simply move towards it with the L stick and you'll stick to it and wall climb. By swapping the X and B buttons in Settings, the controls of Jump and Let Go will also be swapped. Note that the Stamina Wheel is consumed while Climbing.

Ultrahand is the ability to move objects and attach them together to create vehicles. This greatly increases the range of transportation options, such as using wooden boards as bridges or creating rafts to cross lakes.

Ascend is the ability to go up through the ceiling. The target can be anything, including boards and paths overhead. However, there is a distance limit, so it cannot be used if the distance is too far.

Recall is the ability to rewind the movement of a moving object. It can reverse a spinning cogwheel or reverse a raft down a waterfall to ascend back.

Horse

How To GetCatch wild Horses on the Surface

Wild Horses can be found in various places on the Surface and can be captured to use as a means of transportation. The A button can be used to increase the speed of movement in stages, allowing you to move faster than running. However, since it is difficult to make tight turns, it is most effective for travel in open areas.

Fast Travel (Warp Point)

How To UnlockAfter clearing three shrines on Great Sky Island, go to the end of the Temple of Time

Fast travel allows you to travel to specific locations on the map. However, you can only travel to limited places, such as shrines. Open the map and select the blue icon to travel.

Paraglider

How To GetClear the Main Quest Crisis at Hyrule Castle on the Surface

To use the Paraglider, simply press the X button while in mid-air. It's particularly useful for covering long distances after descending from a high point. Additionally, you can utilize the Updraft to jump up and deploy the Paraglider even from level ground. Note that it consumes Stamina Wheel.

More Comfortable With Sage's Ability "Vow Of Tulin"

After clearing the Wind Temple, the skill, Vow of Tulin, Sage of Wind will be unlocked. Using the lateral wind while paragliding can help you maintain altitude and travel longer distances with ease.

Zonai Devices

There are various objects called "Zonai Devices" on the field. Among these are the "Fan", which can be attached to a vehicle and activated to create movement, and the "Wing", which can be mounted on rails and used for aerial travel. The Device Dispenser can be used to store the devices in Inventory for immediate use anytime, anywhere.

Shield Surf

How To UseWhile equipping a Shield, jump and press ZL+A simultaneously

With the Shield equipped, jump and press ZL+A simultaneously. You can use the shield to surf downhill. Although the location is limited, it is convenient to move quickly. However, do not use it too often since it will drain your Shield's Durability except in snowy mountains and deserts.
