How To Get To Goron City

Goron City Walkthrough

    Ride a horse from Lookout Landing to reach Goron City.
    First, proceed towards the Skyview Tower that you can see straight ahead.

    Since there is Yamiyo Shrine along the way, make sure to examine it and unlock the Travel Point.
  3. 3
    It is recommended to ignore the Battle Talus that appears beyond Orsedd Bridge.
  4. 4
    Once you reach the Rock Mountain, dismount the horse and proceed on foot towards the Skyview Tower.

    Destroy any Ore Deposits you may come across along the way
    Since you will need a certain amount of Rupees ahead, it is recommended to carry an ample amount of ore to sell.

    When you arrive at Skyview Tower, you may be told that you cannot enter inside.

    Rocks will fall from the sky, so head for the spot where they land.
  8. 7
    Use Recall on the rocks to ascend with them.
  9. 8
    Use the Paraglider to enter inside the opening in Skyview Tower from above.
  10. 9
    Once you unlock the map, head towards Goron City by using the Paraglider from above.

    You will arrive at Goron City after walking for a while.
    In order to unlock the Travel Point, examine the Marakuguc Shrine that you can see straight ahead.

Things To Do In Goron City

Unlock Marakuguc Shrine

Once you arrive at Goron City, make it your first priority to unlock the Marakuguc Shrine that can be seen in the back from the entrance. There is no need to complete the shrine, you can just use it as a Travel Point for later when you want to return to Goron City.

Buy Fireproof Armor

When getting inside Death Mountain, Link's body will be burned by the heat. This requires Flamebreaker (Flame Guard) rather than just normal Heat-Resistant Armor They are available at the Armor Shop in Goron City and you will need at least 700 Rupees, so make sure to earn some money beforehand.

Progress The Main Quests By Speaking To Bludo

To start the Main Quest, you need to speak to Bludo in the center of Goron City. It will be easy to spot him as he is surrounded by a large quantity of Marbled Rock Roast.
