How In-Game Time Works
An Hour Passes Per Minute
In Tears of the Kingdom, the in-game time progresses every five minutes, which means that one hour of in-game time is equivalent to one minute in real-time. Therefore, if you play for 24 minutes, a full day will have passed in the game.
You can easily check the current in-game time and weather information by looking at the lower right corner of the screen.
Monsters & Other Objects That Appear Vary Depending On The Time Of Day
Certain monsters only appear during specific in-game times, such as nighttime. It's crucial to be mindful of the time if you're looking to collect materials.
How To Change / Pass Time In Game
Select Pass Time In Front Of A Pot Or Bonfire
When approaching a pot on fire or a bonfire, you will receive the "Sit by the fire" choice. Upon selecting it, you will be given a variety of time options from morning to night, allowing you to wait until your desired time.
