The maximum limit for Energy Cells is 45 memory, and you can have up to 16 of them. To reach the Energy Cell maximum, you'll need to accumulate 4,500 Crystallized Charges.

How To Recharge Energy Cells
Recharged By Portable Pot
Consumed Energy Cells can be restored immediately by cooking them in a Portable Pot, which you can use even while flying. This is a great option to have in case of emergencies.
Recover With Zonai Charge
You can use Zonai Charge to replenish Energy Cells that have been used up. When using a Large Zonai Charge, Energy Cells won't diminish for a while, so use it when consuming a lot of Energy Cells.
Ultilize Zonaite Armor Set Bonus
Zonaite Equipment can help extend the energy of consumed Energy Cells. And, upgrading three pieces of equipment by two levels will activate the Energy Recharge Up Set Bonus.
