One Available At Great Sky Island

You can get the Archaic Warm Greaves from a treasure chest under a large stump near the Gutnabac Shrine on Great Sky Island. Connect two crates from the ruins east of the shrine so you can climb up to the platform.

Create Food & Elixir With Specific Materials

Cold can also be prevented by the effects of Food and Elixir with corresponding materials. It has a longer effect time than Armor, so it should be used as a bridge until you get cold-resistant armor.

Equip Fire Type Weapon

炎

Weapons with fire aspect such as Ruby Rod and Fire Breath Lizal Reaper, have level 1 Cold Resistance just by equipping. So it limits the weapon used but has 1 free armour space instead.

▶Best Weapons List & How To Get

It Is Mostly Useless But Torch Works As Well

Torch with fire also has a Cold Resistance level 1 effect. However, unequipping weapon or activating paraglider will extinguish the fire making it practically useless. You will have to fight enemies with Torch as swapping weapons will also extinguish the fire.

Some Of Ice Type Enemies Can Be One Shotted

Places that require Cold Resistance tend to spawn ice-type enemies. Attacking some of the ice-type enemies with a fire-type weapon, regardless of the damage, will one hit. Against strong enemies, you cannot one-shot, but using a fire-type weapon will increase damage making it very effective.

Stay Near The Fire

火

You are free from the cold near the bonfire and cooking pot. However, its effective radius is small, and will receive damage if you leave the area. It is useful in places that get hot during the day and cold at night such as the Gerudo Desert.

Portable Bonfire

In normal circumstances, you cannot carry around a bonfire. However, by creating a vehicle using Ultrahand and placing a bonfire on top, you can make a portable bonfire. However, it cannot be brought into the dungeon and is not suitable for moving around in a tiny area.

What Is Cold Weather?

Climate Specific To Cold Regions, Such As Snowy Mountains

Coldness is a phenomenon in which the body temperature drops when entering cold regions, such as snowy mountains and Hebra. It is essential to take measures to counteract the gradual damage. It is required to complete the main quest Tulin of Rito Village so, make sure you have at least one or method to resist cold.
