Shrine Sensor - How To Unlock & How To Get
While Progressing The Hateno Village Research Lab
The Shrine Sensor can be obtained from Robbie during the Hateno Village Research Lab quest. Note that you must complete A Mystery In The Depths quest first before the Hateno Village Research Lab will occur.
If The Sensor Does Not Respond, Walk Toward The Hill
If you are stuck while testing the Shrine Sensor, try walking slowly in the direction of the image above. Note that the Shrine Sensor doesn't detect the direction of your view, but the direction in which Link is moving.
Shrine Sensor - How To Use
There Is An Unopened Shrine In The Direction Where The Sensor Reacts
If you move toward an unopened shrine with the Shrine Sensor, the sensor will react. Note that the sensor does not work if you are not moving because it doesn't detect the direction of your viewpoint, but the direction you are going.
Can Detect The Underground Shrine
When you are above a shrine, the sensor will show "Sensing Below". The shrine is underground, such as in a cave, so try to get around to find it.
Can Switch On/Off On The Map
Open the map and press the Y Button to turn the Shrine Sensor ON or OFF. You can also switch with Sensor+ which will be added later, so register what you want to find.
