TotK | Sage's Will - How To Get & Use | Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

Sage's Will is a Key Item in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom (TotK). Learn how to get Sage's Will, how to use them to upgrade Sage Abilities or Sage Power including map spawn locations.

What Is Sage's Will?

It Allows You To Enhance The Attacks Of The Sage Character When Collected

Sage's Will is an item that when collected, enables you to enhance the attacks of the sages (Champions). Not only normal attacks but skill attacks using the A button will be enhanced.

The Sages Are Unlocked By Clearing The Main Quests

Sage	Unlock Conditions
Tulin	Clear Tulin of Rito Village Blow away enemies with the wind. When used during Paragliding, it increases movement speed.
Yunobo	Clear Yunobo of Goron City Engulf yourself in flames and dash forward. This ability allows you to destroy obstacles and ignite fires.
Sidon	Clear Sidon of the Zora Deploy a barrier. After deploying it, swinging your weapon creates a wave of slashing energy.
Riju	Clear Riju of Gerudo Town Creates a lightning field and when using Bows and Arrows within the field, lightning strikes the point of impact.
Mineru's Construct	Clear Guidance From Ages Past Controls a Construct to fight.

Sages Can Be Summoned From The Key Items Menu

After recruiting a sage as a companion, you will obtain its Vow item. It is stored in the "Key Items" category, and by using it, you can toggle the selected sage on and off at any time.

Sage's Will In South Eldin Sky Archipelago

	Map	Directions
1		Unlock Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower and fly to the sky from Skyview Tower.
2		Descend onto the island where the Mine Cart is located, defeat the enemies, get on the Mine Cart, and use it to move around the island.
3		Get off the Mine Cart and use Ascend to climb up one level.
4		Use the nearby Flame Emitter to burn the thorns.
5		Follow the path and open the treasure chest to obtain it.

Sage's Will In The Eldin Sky Archipelago

	Map	Directions
1		Prepare multiple types of food that can restore the Stamina Wheel. You can create food using Stamella Shroom and Restless Cricket.
2		Use Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower to fly up into the sky, and then travel using the Paraglider. *Recover the Stamina Wheel as needed using food.
3		Open the treasure chests on the island.

Water Temple's Sage's Will

	Map	Directions
1		Progress the Main Quests until reaching the Water Temple.
2		Travel to the shrine of the Water Temple, proceed south, and jump down to the location of the construct.
3		Defeat Flux Construct II
4		Open the treasure chest that was attached to Flux Construct II and obtain its contents.

Sage's Will In The South Hyrule Sky Archipelago

	Map	Directions
1		Unlock the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower and soar into the sky.
2		Use the Paraglider to move to the island with two ponds. *It's recommended to have Stamina Wheel recovery food items.
3		Go down to the lower pond, use the Ultrahand to attach logs and boards together, and drain the water from the pond.
4		Open the treasure chest located inside the pond and obtain its contents.

Sage's Will Effect & Use

Collect Four Of Them And Deliver Them To The Goddess Statue To Enhance The Sage

Sage's Will can be used to enhance one sage by collecting four of them and offering them at the Goddess Statue. By enhancing the sage, you can increase its attack power. Choose the sage you prefer and upgrade them according to your play style.

Goddess Statue (Emergency Shelter At Lookout Landing)

It is recommended to go to the Goddess Statue from the Emergency Shelter at the Lookout Landing. By traveling to Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, you can easily reach the Goddess Statue.

Upgrading The Sage Will Approximately Multiply Their Attack Power By 1.3 Times

Before Enhancement	After Enhancement

By using Sage's Will to enhance, the damage from attacks increases by approximately 1.3 times compared to before enhancement. The attack power will increase by 1.3 times regardless of which sage is enhanced.
