How To Repair Weapons?
Rock Octorok Absorbs And Restores Durability
Rock Octorok Details | |
---|---|
1 | Only once per player is available └ Resets during Blood Moon |
2 | Restores Durability |
3 | Additional random effects └ If the effect is already applied, another effect will be applied as well. |
4 | Effect can be reset by Save & Load |
Rock Octorok in Eldin will restore your equipment's durability by absorbing it (glowing effect). Even if it limits to once per player, it is still recommended since it will be good and valuable for your equipment.
Drop The Weapon In Front of Rock Octorok
Place or throw your weapon in front of Rock Octorok, and then move a little farther away from the Octorok since it will start sucking the things/materials in front of it, including your weapon. Make sure you are quite far away so it will stop sucking.
Near Momosik Shrine Is Recommended
Momosik Location | Octorok Location |
---|---|
If you want to repair your weapon through the Rock Octorok, the best place will be near the Momosik Shrine. There are three Rock Octoroks near the shrine, so you can repair your weapon, bow, and shield all at once.
Select Your Desired Effect By Save & Load
Rock Octorok's additional effects after the repair will be random. Therefore, by repeatedly saving and loading your game it is possible to get the effect you want. Since there are cases where unwanted effects are added, it is recommended to save your game in advance.
Repair/Effect For Champion Weapons Are Not Possible
Even if the Champions' weapon is/are sucked by the Rock Octorok, the Durability cannot be repaired or given an effect. Therefore, the only way is to rebuild it every time the weapons is/are broken.
What To Do When Weapons Break
Get A New Weapon
If a weapon's durability is reduced and is broken, the weapon cannot be repaired. Once the weapon is broken it will automatically disappear from your inventory. You can only pick up new weapons instead.
After Blood Moon, Weapons & Enemies Will Respawn
The Blood Moon appears after 7 days in-game and all weapons, enemies, and ore deposits will be restored after the event. If you want to take a weapon again, you can only wait for the Blood Moon to happen.
Blood Moon Guide - How To Trigger Red Moon EventUse Fuse To Increase Weapon's Durability
Combining weapons using Fuse will increase the attack power and durability of the weapon. The durability will be increased nearly twice as much as usual, so if you want to hold a specific weapon for a long time, Fusing is one of the methods that you can use.
