The Flux Construct Core is a Fuse Material for weapons and shields. You cannot pick it up and put it in Inventory, so Fuse it to a weapon or shield on the spot.
Fuse - How To Use & EffectAttach To Weapon For Additional Attack Power & Smashing Effect
Fusing on a weapon will give Attack Up and smashing effects depending on the type of core. The smashing effect allows you to destroy Ore Deposit or break the stone armor of an enemy.
Useful For Defeating Stone Talus
The Ore Deposits on Stone Talus' bodies are their weak spots, so having a weapon with a smashing effect (such as a hammer) makes it easier to deal damage. It'd be better to have it if you want to take on Stone Talus later.
