Hi! Looking for any advice on getting gold nuggets… I’ve gone to 11 nook miles islands to hit rocks and only got 1 piece. Any help would be great!!!

Try this:
1. Use an NMT to fly to a mystery tour island.
2. Cut down all trees *except palm* to narrow bug spawning
3. Stalk the palm trees until you catch those bugs (they only spawn on palms)

I caught mine by planting ten along my coast and just stalking up and down until I got them lol. Scare off any others to prompt respawns. ;)

You just need to have caught 100 bugs first (any combination, and not all on same day or anything). Then, it's just rare. I didn't catch my last bug (the giraffe stag) until I was over 2000 hours in. :/

help! my wife & I r having an ish w/ the gold & giraffe beetles not spawning. I was reading a sidebar in the bug list & it said that in order to have those 2 beetles 2 even spawn, u'd 1st needed 2 have a 100 of something 2 spawn 1st. A 100 of what?
