I’ve been trying to get black roses by cross breeding the two reds but ALWAYS get pink. I’ve gotten about 6 pink and 1 black.

my seed yellow and seed red made a pink with no white roses anywhere near

Pink roses can also come from 2 red roses. Don't know the chances, but it happened for me.
